They day was full of people ranging in all ages. They had the elderly in the morning enjoying breakfast and lunch while the younger crowd came in after school for a quick bite or study group. Prudence Halliwell served them all.
She woke up every morning at seven which begun with a shower. Then she took her red blouse and press straight black slacks which fit her perfectly and slid them on. There was no real dress code at the place other than looking professional. After that she'd grab a white tie and let it loosely hang around her slender neck, Prue somehow managed to give herself a uniform. Her long brown locks were then let hanging on her back in a loose pont tail, enough to keep it out of the food but not so tight it would give her a headach. Her black Prada heels were her last touch before she grabbed the keys to her Explorer. She did not know why but she loved big cars.
Ten hours later she was taking one more break. She sat in a booth near the kitchen with her design books infront of her. She was currently designing a dress for her sister's prom, though she wasn't sure if the girl was going or if she minded, it was just a thought at the moment, one that kept her mind off her unusual life.
Not too long ago, maybe two years ago Prue unlocked an interesting peice of her past, it started by her freezing the world around her one Friday afternoon a week after her parents' death. She then found her mother's things, and well after that she was determined to find out more information when she had free time, which has yet to happen. The dress she drew out was the point of distraction and homework. She was in the process of figuring out which color the eighteen year old would prefer when someone slid into the seat in front of her.

this?” she began, stopping as her eyes finally made contact with the woman seated across from her. “Like one of those progressive endeavors, where the restaurant tries to appear trendy and has the waiting staff seated with the clientele? Utterly lame and unimpressive…” Cromwell snapped under her breath before returning her gaze to the menu as she awaited an answer; not bothering to wonder if the other female was on her lunch break or something of the like. “Cute shoes by the way.” Selene expressed, almost as an afterthought.[/ul]

Prudence glanced up at the girl. She was clearly younger than her, maybe Pandora's age. But this girl gae the brunette a strange feeling, something about her was not right. She filled the dress in with some color as the young woman looked through the menu before she began to speak, she had this air to her, hot air.
“So what exactly is this?” Prudence gave her a quizzical look before she continued on. “Like one of those progressive endeavors, where the restaurant tries to appear trendy and has the waiting staff seated with the clientele? Utterly lame and unimpressive…” Prudence laughed a bit, "Well.." but the girl did not stop. “Cute shoes by the way.” she looked down at her shoes then back at her, "Thank you." a small smile followed.
The Charmed girl put her color pencil down before looking at the girl, "Well I am sorry to say but Italiano's is not much into trends, it is very old fashion." she closed her book and put the pencils back into the bag she had, "Besides, this help is just finishing her break apparently." she took her things and went behind the counter and put the stuff under near her matching Prada bag. She then grabbed a note pad and her black fine tip pen before returning to the girl.
"Hi, I'm your server Prudence, how may I help you?" she asked the girl. She did not trust this girl too much.

Selene thought to herself as she glanced around the eatery. In her eyes it was hardly rush hour. “Not that I care – at all really, but aren’t you a little old to be doodling?” she asked rhetorically. Cromwell had intentionally kept the servant waiting, as that was her job. She was to stand there, waiting hand and foot for Selene to give her orders. It was a wonderfully fun thing to do, perturbing these people like this. In her upscale dress, with her notepad and pen, she could not have remained very comfortable as Selene sat in silence. “Anyway, I think I’ll start off with just water for now. Thank you…”[/ul]

Not that I care – at all really, but aren’t you a little old to be doodling?” She raised an eyebrow and laughed a bit, “There is never an age limit on doodling.” Though it seems you lost many years long ago. She kept that part in her head. “Especially for one in the fashion business. Doodling is most likely the reason your little outfit is even in exsistance.” She grinned. It was her life’s passion and she was completely good at it, she spent four years studying it and soon she’ll be heading into a masters in business to help create the line of her dreams. Loads more schooling, but she was fine with it, she just wanted to draw and sew. But she did enjoy her job, even the customers who seem to have a little bit too much money in their pocket. This girl obviously rolled in a world where she was the queen to some man who just needs a check to take care of his family and will get it anywhere, even from her. “Anyway, I think I’ll start off with just water for now. Thank you…”
Prudence nodded her head and pretended to write it down. “Right on its way, oh! Bottled, or tap? Sparkling or plain?” she asked the girl the rhetorical question, but had a feeling she might take it seriously. Prudence was definitely not going to let this girl bring her down to nothing. She had dealt with brats before, she raised her brother and sister after her parents died, she had some tolerance. Like waiting around in gorgeous but uncomfortable heels trying to get them ready for school and what not. The brunette knew what she was doing. She closed the notepad and stuck the pen in her back pocket followed by that notepad. She was actually very curious as to why this girl was spending her time in this restaurant when she clearly did not find any interest in it.

It actually wasn’t the waitress’s fault that she was too middling to do anything other than draw. It was just her culture, Selene thought to herself; or lack thereof rather. Unsurprisingly, the elder female couldn’t take Selene’s simple request as just that: a simple request. If the young warlock honestly cared for the quality of something as pedestrian as water, then she certainly wouldn’t being wasting her precious time in a place such as Italiano’s. Cromwell was unaware as to how long the waitress had been doing this gig, but perhaps the other woman’s legs were growing so sore from standing that they had begun to cut off circulation to her brain. If she did not like waiting on people, why would she have taken a job of this nature? It made absolutely no sense to her, though it could never. She had been born with a silver spoon in her mouth; a pompous child of privilege in nearly every manner possible. She would never have to stand, toiling at the many beckon calls of another. She was Selene Cromwell, and she was wealth, privilege, and sin incarnate. “Surprise me.” Selene announced, sarcasm lacing her every syllable as she relayed her request in a rather droll voice to her waitperson. She hadn’t the time or interest in babying the employee to fetch her a glass and needed to focus on enjoying herself while the time was ripe, as it was all she deserved. Whether her enjoyment be deviant, cruel, or simple, it was hers to worry about, and no one else’s. The young woman had but one goal these days, and that wasn’t to pander to the whims of her older brothers or lock herself and her novel abilities from the rest of the world. Her goal was the furthering of herself, and her desires. Anything else was just a bonus…or a liability.[/ul]
